The entrance ties in with current holidays most famous for their christmas tree, when we went it was of course Easter!

This is great because you get to the top quickly as there is less of a wait than the Empire State building and you get a fantastic view of both sides of the city.
There is an offer to buy a city pass which incorporates historical landmarks and museums however for those who have a short time and a budget some things on the list are actually free to see anyway. So my recommendation is a combo of top of the rock and a museum (thats costs to get in such as MoMa or the Museum of Natural History).
