Today I ventured to the LES (Lower East Side) for a street market/festival just to get myself a Brooklyn Taco that I have heard so much about. Of course the day started bright and sunny so all I had was a summer dress, spare cash, a self inflicted headache, a grumbling stomach and a dream.
So I got to the street festival walked up and down a few times ogling the delicious vintage pieces thanking god I only brought $10 so I didn't splurge and I could not find the Brooklyn Taco stand, then it started to sprinkle and then it started to pour so I found shelter whilst attempting to make google maps work through random wifi hotspots. I found the actual store was only couple of block away in the Essex Street Market (between Rivington st and Delancey)
Needless to say I would do it all again, these bad boys were totally worth it!
I had the Chorizo Y Potato consisting of pan fried chorizo and potato with lettuce, fruit salsa (pineapple & fresh herbs), crema and a New Orleans iced coffee (chicory spice makes it Norleans style)
I was beyond satisfied!!! This place is totally worth a visit for all taco enthusiasts.
