Holy Cannoli!

The freedom trail runs through the city of Boston marked by a red line to follow it takes you to many of the historical monuments of Boston and the US. 

Bunker Hill

It's a tight squeeze lots of people and it was an extremely hot day, for some reason when you get up there you think there will a nice breakout area to cool off.

Pit stop Mike's Pastry words cannot describe the foodgasm that ensued!

Holy Cannoli! 

For those of you who may have never had one it is fried pastry with some sort of sweet filling such as ricotta, yellow cream (custard) or cream.

Mint choc chip cannoli, praline (caramel/nut shell) and a lobster roll fille with cream, yellow cream and ricotta it was as big as my head and my head is large.

This bad boy lasted us 3 days... i'm still salivating

and then it was time for Bawston! first stop Hahvahd* (Harvard) 

This tour was awesome some hilarious stories from the 376 year old school

Such as not naming a house after Mr. Whore, think of the controversy 

Famous students rooming together

The erection of a library in memory of an alumni who died on the Titanic

Famous guest speakers such as Borat being escorted off the premises

Stress relieving rituals during exams (screaming and running around naked in the courtyard, as a group of course)

etc.. seriously worth checking out this tour!

The lucky gold toe, apparently rubbing it can get you into Harvard unfortunately I have been accepted by Hogwarts so I had to pass up this opportunity.

*please note in Boston they elongate there A's and switch R's for an H sound, makes them sound more strayan in my opinion.

So here I am crossing from Canada to the US using my bare legs! I have been jonesing to get a photo at the border as well as see good old Niagara Falls!

I have to stay the biggest shock was seeing people whip out their ipads to take photos whilst on the boat??
