Chillin in San fran

San Francisco home to the steepest streets I have ever ridden on. We had a magical time on our first stop on the west side, yeah that's the crypt side (snoop dogg lyrics).

Upon arrival we checked into our delightful hostel, because we're ballers we had a private room which was awesome including a TV, fridge, sink and bunk beds! So much activity space! Then we headed to fishermans wharf on tram the first mobile national landmark i have ever been on, san fran has about 5 different means of transport ranging from bus, train, tram, trolley, F line and yet a cab is probably one of the cheaper options. Fishermans wharf is a popular tourist destination so we fit right in, we dined on crab cakes, "#1" clam chowder and salmon with steamed veggies and garlic rice delicious! And then we caught the sunset on our way home, some would call it a perfect first day.

The second day we went on a wine tour, separate post to follow.

On the third day we went to the famous hardcore criminal island jail Alcatraz (no longer in use) it was awesome! I can highly recommend this if you are in San fran. We got to do an audio tour which is cool because you get to do it at your own pace and no one else can really irrit you. It turns out alot of prison movies/tv shows were based on Alcatraz such as the classic Shawshank redemption, there were three men in Alcatraz who dug tunnels behind the radiator vent in their room, left a decoy dummy of themselves in bed then scaled the piped and created a makeshift raft from raincoats and no one ever saw them again so they either drowned or made it to South Americs, I like to think they made it to south America and it totally reminded me of good old Andy! PS this all went down when the warden went on a fishing trip talk about timing! Also the view would have been the ultimate punishment it was beyond beautiful!

To celebrate our escape we headed to the mission to pick up some juicy vintage threads! I swear I must be a magician because where there's a will there's me cramming another purchase into my bag! I also have the amazing ability to make money disappear in the blink of an eye the two kind of go hand in hand. So cruising through the mission you can see amazing murals on the majority of building walls at a crosswalk and they are beautiful. We also headed to La Taqueria on Mission street as recommended by my Lonely planet and it was spectacular I had the pork burrito Stacey had beef and it was #refreshing not overloaded with ingredients like other burritos I've had it was just right! they also had a very authentic Mexican vibe I can recommend this place too. Once we cruised the mission we headed to Castro st where parts of the movie
Milk was filmed also the place where Harvey Milk himself lived. Those hills were a force to be reckoned I'm pretty sure I've solved the Emerica obesity epidemic build cities like San fran your kids will never get fat running home from the park on that vertical incline. We saw a line outside a home made ice cream store so naturally after working our calves we rewarded ourselves with ice cream! I had a blood orange/pomegranate sorbet it was #refreshing! Then we headed back home to get ready for a dinner party followed by a mini pub crawl and a margarita I couldn't finish it people, it was a giant tumbler majority tequila! So of course Stacey suggested pizza with extra sauce to ease the pain of the morning.

For our final day we decided to feed our desire/curiosity and head to In n Out Burger! And it did not disappoint! A cute little 50s deco burger chain for cheap burgers. I ordered a cheeseburger meal with a strawberry shake! Om nom nom and then we had a nap on the grass at fishermans wharf absorbing our last rays of sunshine because who can predict the weather in Emerica!

So we set off on a jet plane to San Diego!
