When it's cold go somewhere to warm your heart

I cannot describe the feeling of seeing shoes covered in ash from the officer that kicked them off to gear up to run into a collapsing burning building.

One of the darkest days New York has ever experienced and a decade later the wound is still so raw.
Despite all the controversial opinions of why it happened it all boils down to those who were lost as a result. Watching the video interviews of parents, partners and siblings talk about their loss was chilling.

The skyline below was cut from a metal bearing of one of the towers

All give some, Some give all

Where the Twin Towers once stood they have made two large square waterfalls illuminated with gold lighting and engraved around the edge are the names of those lost.

My Mum once told me when you take a picture and white dots appear it is the spirits of those passed.

If you come to NY please see this.
