I walked there from 30th station along the Schuylkill River Trail. It was quite a beautiful walk even with the rain.
I entered through the West entrance to start off on the 2nd floor Asian & European Art. The exhibits are amazing because they incorporate the entire building in the display so walking through the Asian art wing you walk into a bonsai garden with replicated houses and the lighting reflects the weather it is definitely one of my favourite museum experiences because it felt like you were right there. I also love the rooms setup as if you are in the house/castles of European royalty.

The wallpaper matched the curtains delicious.
Now for one of the other highlights of the Philadelphia Museum, the classic film Rocky used the steps in his film preparing for his fight so of course I re-enacted it as best I could.
After the museum I headed to the Reading Terminal Market one of the biggest and best markets I've seen and they carry Amish specialties.
I am extremely curious how this cake even came about...Pumple Pie - Apple pie & Pumpkin pie!
After my adventure I headed home inspired to create a delicious meal I decided to make lemon, parsley & mixed mushroom risotto and Spinach, roasted sweet potato, feta and pine nut salad it was divine.
