Just another Manic Monday

I set out on my first shopping adventure to the city of Philadelphia today catching the train which was a sweet 30 minute ride. With my hand drawn map (thanks aunty Margy) in hand I was ready to take on Walnut Street the best shopping strip in the city.

The thing that shocks me most about American stores is that the majority of them have a minimum of two storeys. I was not only overwhelmed by their size but also in trying to figure out what size I am in jeans (Tip: after 3 days of shopping I discovered it changes with each store and each kind jean, makes for a fun day ladies!)

The first store I found was American Apparel I'm not gonna lie I didn't feel cool enough to be in there (probs because I have to rock around in my sneakers everyday because I am yet to find a pair of boots) ugh I hate it when that happens but I still found some leggings to purchase shiny and non shiny and a normal pop top water bottle (its been a bit of a mission sourcing one of them) so that was a win.

I also found these cool towels good for a chuckle...

The next store I discovered was H&M delicious clothing and extremely affordable

On this day I did not find anything...stay tuned

The next store I fell in love with was Urban Outfitters it is 5 storeys high!!! full of awesome clothes/ great books/accessories/ hilarious gag gifts as well!

All in all it was an exhausting day but I started to get more of feel for what stores I would like I am secretly most looking forward to vintage and op shops (thrift stores) in NYC.
